Unsure of what to do because her swelling won't go down for another few hours Alyssa is left with nowhere to go. Before Isaac leaves however Alyssa gets a call from Madalyn who says she can't have her "sleep over" that night because her parents are grounding her after she failed an exam. The two finish their dinner and begin to say goodbye saying how they should do this again but Alyssa plans to stop dressing as a girl after the play next week but says they can still hang out with her as Austin again. Alyssa begins to feel like it's becoming a date but still enjoys herself despite not wanting to acknowledge her feelings. The pair go as far as to cuddle a bit in the movies and blush as they talk over dinner.
Each step of the way the pair laugh and smile and seem to just get more and more attracted to each other. The two go out for the night seeing a movie and then going out to dinner. Alyssa says how she's used to kissing other guys for the play but points out she's still really a boy to Isaac, but he still finds it hard to see her as a guy when she's dressed like that. Once they're gone and Liam backs off Alyssa apologizes thinking Isaac is disgusted but he says he kind of enjoyed it because it felt like he was kissing a pretty girl. While it works Isaac is a bit shocked when Alyssa kisses him. The pair put on a scene as they pass him in the hall and Isaac plays tough for what Liam did to her at the party. As the two head out, they spot Liam in the hallway and Alyssa asks Isaac if he would pretend to be her boyfriend to scare Liam into backing off since he's been getting too touchy lately. Isaac also notices that her boobs seem a bit bigger and asks why she's wearing heels, but Alyssa just says she's getting practice in for the play because she tripped in rehearsal. Outside Alyssa meets up with Isaac who compliments her on her beauty and how convincing her female disguise is. Alyssa feels a few mixed emotions about doctoring up her appearance as this isn't really a date but going out as a girl makes it feel like one. Two other girls in the dressing room ask if she's got a date and she semi-admits she does, and the girls compliment her on getting a date with Isaac who they notice out in the hallway.
